The Cd is the audio protion to the DVD concert. The DVD also includes a rather cool music video. For certain, I will be missing this group a lot in the future, but at least I can say that before they broke up that they left the best of memories behind, and this CD-DVD combo is part of that classy library/5(57).

Photos courtesy of Shanachie Entertainment. Former Floetry “Songstress” Ambrosius has received tons of attention, acclaim and airplay (radio and music video) with her major-label solo debut, Late Nights & Early Mornings. Her lush, lovely and often sex-soaked modern soul sound has roots in Floetry but is definitely far away (pardon the pun) from the duo’s unique blend of postmodern soul.

The Floacist, Natalie Stewart, opens "Step Out" by declaring, "New dawn, new day -- perfect moment to embrace change."A few aspects of her second solo album don't mirror this mentality. The back cover of this album, titled Floetry Re:Birth, proclaims, "Celebrating the 10 year anniversary of Floetry!" Floetry ended in , when Marsha Ambrosius left to pursue a solo career.

Apr 23,  · It's hard to imagine two more talented hipsters than Floetry singer Marsha Ambrosius and emcee Natalie Stewart, a.k.a. the Songstress and Floacist. The U.K. duo's Floetic debut has it all--smooth R&B, soulful jazz, hip-hop, spoken word, supple ballads and a warmth that cradles the listener from beginning to end.
