The is a vanity list, ranking of the top albums and EPs in my listening collection on raycarsimpsicaperranavitytyre.xyzinfo (excluding complication albums). Rankings are based on individual track playcounts and not overall album playcounts (meaning albums with more tracks will rank higher than albums with fewer overall tracks), so its not an entirely accurate representation of my faveorite albums, but it's close enough.

It turns out that, while the cassette tape was a major revolution for portable music, nobody bothered to document the actual first album ever printed on one. The hipster in me likes to dream that, somewhere deep in the recesses of some grandmother’s sofa, lies a cassette .

Hearing the sudden swoop of synth moans on "Man of Time" and unearthly alien drones on "Digging in a Hole" just adds to the collapsing, careening atmosphere of the album. Man of time et Break loose. Les titres au tempo plus lent sont aussi très réussis, notamment le tour de force vocal Pussy X, sorti en

Over in France was the much lesser-known Kas Product, with the juxtaposition of larger-than-life powerhouse vocals by Mona and synth wizard Spatsz setting them apart - and though similaries can be drawn to Yazoo - Kas Product had a sound nowhere near as commercial. The synths are chillier and more crude, and lyrically they're darker.

Their first two EPs, Mind Seven and Take Me Tonight, were recorded in a bedroom with a 2-track and released by the label Punk Records. From May to July , KaS Product wrote eleven new songs which are featured on their first album Try Out, recorded at Sunrise Studio in Switzerland. Produced by the band and Gerard Nguyen, this alb read more.
