Apr 11,  · It's possible they got the idea about Churchill's Speech while recording/planning the video for Aces High single, which came out about a month later than album. And continued to use it as concert intro when opening with Aces High ('84,'85,'99,'08,'09).

Jul 31,  · What is the name of the churchill speech at the beginning of the Iron Maiden song, Aces High? "We shall fight in the hills and on the streets.. we will never surrender?" What churchill speech is this? it is referred to as "Churchill's War Speech" or the "Fight them on the Beaches Speech". To the best of my knowledge he never titled it.

Run, live to fly, fly to live, Aces high. Move in to fire at the mainstream of bombers Let of a sharp burst and then turn away Roll over, spin round and come in behind them Move to their blindsides and firing again. Bandits at 8 O'clock move in behind us Ten ME's out of the sun Ascending and turning our spitfires to face them.
