Feb 22,  · A cha cha to me is "an action" dance, and I get get and give action to faster cha cha music. My wife is really into Marc Anthony, and I practice almost daily to "I Need To Know" and "Tragedy." I'll have to listen to some of the ones suggested here.

The Cha-Cha or Triple Mambo is basically a triple rhythm Mambo (3 step rhythm to two beats of music, usually slower) done in 4/4 time, around beats per raycarsimpsicaperranavitytyre.xyzinfo dance may have been introduced to the world by a British dance teacher ' Pierre Leville ' who noticed that the Rumba was occasionally danced with a couple of extra steps. He brought the idea back with him to Europe around

The cha-cha requires small steps and lots of hip motion (Cuban motion), as it is danced in 4/4 time. The fourth beat is split into two, giving it the characteristic rhythm of 2, 3, 4 and 1. Therefore, five steps are danced to four beats. You may have heard it counted like, "One, two, cha-cha-cha.".

(Cha-Cha) (EZ Cha-Cha: Step #1.) Hear it! It's the simplest Latin Rhythm on the Planet! We'll call the above beat pattern a 'quasi' Cha-Cha. It is a great little 'wannabe' and will work (in a pinch) as a Cha-Cha if you can't play the more difficult, classic Cha-Cha patterns (below). This one is pretty easy!
