Lots of place names come from agriculture, the landscape, historical markers, and natural features like springs, waterfalls, and rivers. Still more are named for families in the community or values the community shares. A few still leave visitors scratching their heads, and those are the ones with origin stories that even locals can’t agree on.

Get name of newest file in a directory on my disk based on date created; Paste the text "newest file: " plus the name of the newest file. One of its options is to "Execute a shell script", so I thought that would do it for 1. After Googling around a bit I came up with this: cd /path/to/directory/ ls -t | head -n1.

List of all cities / regions / countries in the world? database / list / sql-file / csv-file / txt-file of all the cities, their regions (states) and countries in the world? I have tried maxminds, but theirs is so filled with errors it isn't even funny. (Their regions / states are either wrong, nonexistant or dubious) Thanks! 8 .

This tech-recipe will explain how to use 7-Zip to create a text file (tab delimited) listing of the contents of a zip file. You can run raycarsimpsicaperranavitytyre.xyzinfo file in a directory and get the listings of every ZIP file contained in that directory and any sub-directories. Keep reading for the commands and explanation. Required [ ].

Optional are album and artist names. I think these are only required in flat music directory structures. I, on the other hand, store music files in an artist/album manner. This means they aren't required in the file names. In theory you could also include genre, and other tags. However, this would make the filename long and more difficult to read.

When I hear Crypt Sermon's album ‘Out of the Garden’, those bands mentioned at their most theatrical are what springs to mind. As expected, the opening song "Temple Doors" starts out slow and moody, very gradually building momentum, opening the album, followed by ‘Heavy Riders’, and ‘Byzantium".
