This is a fabulous album by London Indy band Bush. If you haven't ever heard anything by this group I would advise you to get or at least listen to their first album called Sixteen Stone. The critics gave it four and five stars, however they said that Razorblade was nowhere near as good/5().

Basically, Sixteen Stone is a hit-or-miss album, best listened to for nostalgic purposes. But chances are you'll find yourself less tolerant of the poorer tracks now than you did when Bush was all the rage, and less excited about what is good on this disc.

Bush's debut album, Sixteen Stone holds up well nearly 25 years later. It also helped push lead singer Gavin Rossdale into instant fame. As for Pulsford, Parsons, and Goodridge, man, those guys could make a ton of noise! Sixteen Stone is a worthwhile addition to your rock album collection.
